Find My Level

Let’s find a story for you. There are five levels. Start with Level 1.

Read the words below. Do they feel easy? If yes, try Level 2.

Keep going until the words feel hard. The level before that is a good place to start.

The boy has a dog.
The dog likes to run.
They play in the park.

Ben took his dog to the park after breakfast. They walked beside the pond and watched the ducks swim across the water.

Ben had planned to spend the morning at home, but the clear blue sky changed his mind. He called his dog, grabbed his jacket, and headed toward the park.

Although Ben had intended to remain home that morning, the unexpected warmth and brilliant sky persuaded him otherwise. Within minutes, he and his impatient companion were making their way toward the park.

Ben’s carefully arranged plans proved remarkably easy to abandon once the morning revealed itself. Whatever virtues his quiet day indoors might have offered seemed suddenly inferior to an aimless excursion beneath an unusually generous sky.

The levels are here to help you. They aren’t grades or scores.

If a level feels easy, try the next one.

If a level feels hard, go back one.
