We read public-domain classics and stories shared with permission, including bedtime stories, educational stories, American stories, folk tales, fairy tales, and other enduring works worth passing from one generation to the next.

Libraverio organizes stories into five simple reading and listening levels:
Level 1 Start
Simple words. Short sentences. One idea at a time. A good place to start for new English learners and young children.
Level 2 Build
Longer sentences and more words, with stories that are still easy to follow. A good next step when Start feels comfortable.
Level 3 Grow
Natural storytelling with richer vocabulary and sentences that carry more than one idea, for intermediate learners, older children, and homeschool students.
Level 4 Read
Rich, unsimplified English for capable readers ready for classic literature, where meaning often arrives through implication, idiom, and tone.
Level 5 Master
Sophisticated literary language for experienced readers, adults, teachers, and lifelong learners, where the prose itself is part of the pleasure.
Start where the stories feel comfortable.
Then grow from there.

For English Learners
Stories give English learners something worksheets can’t: language with a reason to keep listening.
Libraverio offers clear, natural spoken English through stories that build listening comprehension, vocabulary, familiarity with sentence structure, and confidence while giving the listener something worth hearing.
Children can learn with Libraverio. So can adults. Our learning levels are based on language ability rather than age alone, so an adult learning English never has to be treated like a child just because they’re beginning.
